The good news is there are doorbell cameras available which come equipped with internal storage. This way you can save videos locally and can review them without having to pay monthly fees or being locked into to a contract.
Internal storage options can vary, some doorbell cameras can accept TF or micro SD cards. Others have permanent internal memory installed. Be sure to check the details in the product specifications before buying.
Another thing to keep an eye on is which smart assistant the doorbell camera is compatible with. Most doorbell cameras will be compatible with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, but it pays to double check and make sure the doorbell camera will work with the smart assistant you are currently using.
